Question about Voided/Adopted Villagers and Main Street

I know that if villagers are voided they then show up in your Main Street after a bit. Do villagers that have been adopted (taken by other players) also show up?

Yes, they do (as far as I know).

Yes, Canberra recently showed up in mine and she was adopted by my Mum.

I started up a cycling town and saw Agnes though she was adopted. I had never seen a villager that was adopted in my main town, so was curious. Would suck if she had somehow been voided instead, so wanted to be sure ~
