Question about villager PWP requests

How do I make my villagers ask more frequently or at least once? I tried the swimming thing and I got pings but never requests. I'm in AC depression since punchy moved out so I rather just get started on making my perf town. Thank you x

As far as I know, the swimming method is the best one, because it gives you pings. It might take a few tries to get a ping about a PWP, but you should get one sooner or later

I have the same problem. A method that I accidentally found yesterday is circling your town. I got a suggestion for a zen bell pretty quickly. However, no one wants a police station...

Not seeing villagers for a while is what triggers a ping, so you van circle around town or stand at the beach or swim. ^^

Put all of your bells and items in the storage/bank. Then they won't request trades, higher chance of request. Use with swimming technique.

I just fill my pockets with tools and 100 bell coins (or things they won't trade for/buy) and keep the money I have on me, that way I limit the pings to requests that don't involve items, because I can't receive anything with my pockets full. It feels like I have a higher pwp request rate this way, but of course there's a bunch of catchphrase/greeting pings too.

But really, the best way for me was to simply play the game. ^^; I noticed that just by walking around, entering buildings every now and then, will trigger pings. I have been getting PWP suggestions every day for a few days now.

I find the best method is walking round and round the town, watering flowers and just doing things I get usually one request a day.

I put all my money in my pockets, filling up my pockets ( so I can't get given anything/trade/ask for something to be bought) and getting rid of my monry in my wallet (so I can't buy anything) then just wandering around town. I get greeting/catchphrase requests, but most often PWP.

I haven't gotten one in a while. The last was the moai statue, which I just completed. I'll probably swim a bit later to see if I get anything.
