Question about villager favor?

The other day, Pashmina asked me to bring Chrissy to her in the hour, but Chrissy was inside the able sisters and wouldn't actually follow me when I chose the 'follow me!/come with me!' option. I tried googling to see if there was a way to actually get her to follow me out of the store, but I found no topics about that, or even that type of favour anywhere! Sadly I did not get a screenshot of it at the time.

The hour passed so it's not that important, but it doesn't seem that many people know about this type of favour, or any solutions to having animals not following you.

This is the right place just so you know. You can always save and quit and load your game again and she will be in a different place.
