Question about TTing

Is it like new leaf when you tt too far into the future? Like months ahead? Do villagers move out and do weeds overtake your town?

I have heard that villagers will not move out in this game unless you specifically give them permission to. But I'm not sure about the weeds growth rate

In my experience the weeds only spread where there are existing weeds, but I could be wrong.
I cleared an entire chunk of island and I haven't found any weeds since then.

I've TT'ed 40 years in advance and anything in between. Your villagers can't move out without asking your permission first, so don't worry about that. Weeds and flowers definitely get a bit crazy too.

Yeah it seems nintendo made it better for TTers with that, no fear of losing a villager you love anymore!
