I'm waiting for a villager to move in but i'm kind of in a hurry and want to TT forward two days and then TT back two days back to todays date. Any consequences? I'm hoping it's not enough time for a villager to end up in boxes.

Villagers give 10 days notice before moving since the update. So if that's what you're worried about you should be good.

everything worked out! fauna moved in and barold is moving out! I'm pretty happy he's moving but I won't be time traveling again just in case.

update: ik I said I wasn't going to TT anymore but I kinda want barold out asap so asking anyone would it hurt if I TTed to his move out date (feb 13) and then went back to today's date? Doesn't seem like anyone would pack up and leave because barold is already on his way to doing that. Someone else could end up asking to move also though right?

Keep in mind when you TT backwards, no matter how many days, is the same as moving one day forward. You're still perfectly safe (like you'd still have a lot of time to stop them) if someone else ends up wanting to move.

No worries time-travelling forward to a guy's move out date. Honestly, you're safer doing that. Less time for him to change his mind. And then moving back however many days only counts as one.

Just remember to mind your flowers and weeds, and make sure you talk to all your villagers when all's said and done. They won't have seen you in awhile.
