I TT'd about 11 days into the future and Fang asked to move out. I encouraged him to move out. I know that he will be in boxes the next day (12 days into the future). But what if I time travel backwards to present time? I've heard that time traveling backwards still counts as one day forward, but wasn't sure if that was confirmed. If I time travel 11 days back to present time, will that villager be in boxes when I start the game? Or will it somehow cause him to skip the "boxes" phase and he'll be gone? I'm currently auctioning him off and I don't want to lose him to the void.
