Question about TT and open plots

So I stashed up on a bunch of nook tix and want to go Raymond hunting; I'm not sure I'll manage to use them up (or bump into Raymond) in one day tho.
Does TT-ing back to, say, 8 AM, reset the clock on the open plot?

Yep! As long as you stay in the same day so anywhere between 5am-5am the next day

It shouldn't, as long as you don't cross 6 AM (before or after) you are able to freely manipulate the clock without changing anything.
