How do you ever catch any bugs if all your trees are planted together like a forest? I can't see anything but the first visible row of trees, and it seems all the bugs hate me and spawn on the inner trees where I can't see them.

Help D:

What about cutting some of the trees down with your axe, making the trees left behind, easier to get to?
Then you can plant more trees in areas where it is not so crowded.

I am glad you asked this question, because it has me wondering what I have started, as I have been planting trees and burying apples like a mad man, and not thinking at all where I put them... in a few days I just might have crowded trees as well!

Good luck!

Chris

The problem with that is I'm not sure how it will affect perfect town progress. I thought you needed a certain number of trees to meet requirements, I'm just not sure how anyone can plant so many and still be able to competently catch bugs.

I used to have all my trees super close together but it was impossible to catch anything. I chopped most of them down and now usually have a row alone or maybe randomly placed ones. It doesn't look as neat but it works.

you don't need a forest for a perfect town. i got one with out even trying. i do have lots of flowers, so maybe that helped.

My island was like that. I cut down any tree blocking straight on view of another one. Bugs tend to like certain trees anyway. They say fewer trees and ground cover helps with insect sightings. Stagger plant them.
