Question about trading villagers?

Hello,

Apparently Fang is moving into my town! As fabulous as I'm sure he is,
I don't care for him. (Trying to get a town full of mainly small villagers ~ Tia, Rosie, an Merengue shall be exceptions)

When he pings, how well do you think it would go if I tried to trade Fang for Tia? I think it'd be a fair trade as Fang's tier one however, would I be better off just auctioning him so I have more bells for whenever a Tia comes around? I saw on the tier list he could go for 20-30 million.

If something doesn't make sense just tell me and I'll try to clarify lol.

You can try to get a trade, sometimes it works even if they are not in the same tier....they are both very popular. Auctioning him off however, would certainly give you some bells to put toward Tia, and very possibly, with some to spare

Getting a trade can be rather difficult. I say just make a selling thread for him, get some bells, and then start spamming- I mean posting in the LF thread and regularly lurking cycling threads and the sub itself.
