Question about Toy Day

Hey yall

I only had my game in the summer so winter is new to me and I have a question about Toy Day.

So just in case, I've been writing down what my dumb little villagers want for this Jingle person, so when Jingle appears do I tell him what they want or do I actually have to go get them these gifts?


And if I do have to get them these gifts then I have another question, when they ask for multiple characteristics about what they want, do they want it all in 1 item?

For example, one day Chrissy asked for a lamp, then a few days later she said she wants something gray.
So does she want a gray lamp? Or does she want a lamp, or any other item as long as it's gray?

On Toy Day Jingle goes and gives you this sack with presents to give your villagers. If you have noted down what they wanted then you will know what they want, but you might not give them something they want. So if you give the villager the item they wanted they will be happy about it. And yes I think if they wanted a lamp and then they next day something grey then yeah I think it means a grey lamp. This only applies if it was the same villager. At least this is what I can remember from last year when I did Toy Day in my Animal Crossing New Leaf game

Yepp, Klinkguin got it right. Jingle will give you a bag with gifts, and each gift corresponds with the specific wishes of a villager. So if someone asked for an "orange outfit", there will be an item fitting that description in the bag. All you have to do is bring the right gift to the right villager.

He gives you a sack when you speak to him in a full santa outfit

sack has 10 presents (9 or 8 depending on how many villagers you have)

you deliver each present to each villager

you speak to jingle afterwards and get a reward

It can be tricky though, because sometimes you'll have similar items that only differ by color. For instance, Papi wants a BLACK lamp, while Rooney said he wanted a PINK lamp. You have to know what the color is before you hand it out if you really want the Jingle pic since you need to be 100% correct to get it.

Once you get your clues go to gamefaqs FAQ in the ACNL section. Look for Liquefy FAQ and scroll down to Toy Day.
Find your item and look for the colour under the list. Beside the colour it tells what item the villager wants.
Example a villager wants a lamp that is white. It's a minimalist lamp according to FAQ.
I've used this list in 3 towns and got them all right.

If you want the mystery bag use an extra player. You can give the gift to the villagers or just skip it. Don't give the bag back to Jingle. Put the bag in your inventory and save/quit. The next day you can remove it and put it in your house.
