question about tom nook's buying your town?

i'm selling my cycling town and his offer is 15mil, which is, honestly, disappointing. since it is indeed a cycling town i never put much effort into its looks, but i'm wondering, is there anything i can do to make his amount go up? should i get a few new pwps or move in new players or something?

I don't think anyone knows exactly what factors contribute to the price yet, but my guesses are:

• Main Street progress
• PWPs built & PWPs unlocked
• town age (either as is or tree size)
• badges collected
• maybe HHA scores
• perfect town status
• possibly things like # of visitors
• possibly HHA Showcase
