Question about time capsule

If you bury a time capsule, of one of your villagers, is it possible for them to move while the time capsule is still buried? Or is it an insurance they stay in your town?

They will still move.If they move they will tell you to take it.

They will still move but if they do, they might ask you to dig it back up.

They can move after burying a time capsule. I've had it happen to me in cycle towns. If that happens, they'll send you a letter somewhere down the line asking you to dig it up, and telling you you can keep it.

Yup yup! If they move, they'll eventually send you a letter. More or less telling you that you can open it for yourself.
