Question about themes

Are your purchased themes stored on the Nintendo Network?

Once purchased, themes will be downloaded in your 3DS's SD Card. Just like the downloadable games, purchased themes are tied to the system you're currently using.

Its not actually tied to the system, its tied to the SD Card (because I have 2) so if you have one SD Card.. the one you downloaded your theme on... and took it out and put a different one in the theme wouldn't show up.

It's linked to the sd card, but also the account. I have 2 sd cards, and ones I purchased on sd card A can be downloaded from the theme shop for free on sd card B, and visa versa

Oh! So it's kind of like the purchased tab on iPhones and such?
