Question about the Southern Hemisphere setting

My game is set to the Southern Hemisphere setting, does this mean i cannot find tarantulas. I have been searching for a while now (2 nights) but the only thing i find are scorpions.

If anyone knows anything about this let me know!!!

I’m pretty sure it’s difference because it’s a seasonal thing. I haven’t found any myself either.

I have a friend over in Australia (I’m U.S). He’s been getting scorpions and I’ve been getting tarantulas. I think which one that spawns is which season you’re on if that makes sense. ( ´∀｀)
