Question about the Re-Tail Thread

Sorry if there is a thread to answer this question (I did not find one), but how does this work? Do the two players meet in-game and trade? Or what? Any answers would greatly appreciated!

Yeah.. You essentially add each other on the 3DS, and then one of you goes to the other's town, and you do your trade .. Obviously there is some degree of trust involved.. Which is why some people prefer trades done in their own town for safety.. But 99% of people here are trustworthy

If anyone tries to scam you, like leaving before they pay for an item they bought, then you can flick your wireless switch which will kick the player from your game without saving anything that happened. It also works the other way around (you're at their town and they end the multiplayer session after you dropped the item. You can flick the wireless switch and be sent back to your town with your item)
