question about the new update and HHD

so i heard somewhere that if you have designed a villager's house in HHD using their Amiibo card they will have that interior in NL if you scan them in and ask them to move in. does anyone have any confirmation on this?

also i have only seen people saying that you can ask current villagers to move out if it's someone from the RV that's moving in, does it also work with Amiibo cards?

Well, I wouldn't assume you get the HHD interior you made for the villager, because for some villagers you get 2 rooms and there's the size difference to account for too.

Seems quite impossible to me, but I have not tried it.

i guess i'll have to test it out when i get my Amiibo cards from the mail then (if i get Octavian )

Haven't got any amiibo cards yet (except Lyle, but he isn't a villager XD) so I cannot try it myself.

i definitely will make a separate post if it's true! i actually have a couple of amiibo cards but i don't really want any of them in my town :/

Good question -- I don't think it would transfer an interior since the houses aren't the same size. But maybe you get the saved items added to your catalog?

I imported Julian and I had previously made a house for him in HHD.
His house in NL doesn't look anything like the one in HHD, so I don't think it works that way, unfortunately.

You can have someone move out from your town with the amiibo cards as well. Wisp just suggests a current villager and if you dont like it you just cancel the dialogue and talk to Wisp again and he'll suggest someoen else

maybe the house has to be normal villager size when you design it in HHD :I
