For the TT trick to work, I know you have to skip 2 days ahead save and then go back 2 days and talk to all your villagers. However, after one decides to move, can you skip ahead 1 day at a time until they move out.

Then, I want to time travel back 5 days; will the villager be gone after travelling back? Or will something weird happen? I like to follow the real life calender, so events will happen on the actual days. So will skipping back to today's day after skipping forward 5 days have any consequences?

I read this pretty fast so I may not be answering your question.

If you want the villager gone, the easiest thing to do is TT to the day AFTER they say they are leaving

***UNLESS you are giving the villager to someone, then TT to the day they say they are leaving and let that person in your gates to recruit your moving villager.

After you have TTed to the day the villager is moving or the day after, TT back to the current day if you like playing in real time and the villager and their house will be gone and you can continue on with your merry AC day. Hope this helps :)

:D Thank you so much! Okay, so they'll be gone for good after you TT to the day after they are moving :)

This. ^

If a villager says their moving on a certain date, I wouldn't recommend traveling backwards. When I did that, the villagers would forget they even wanted to move.

I was wondering if you can just TT to the day of or after they are moving save the game so that they are gone. Then TT back to real time and have them forever gone.

Yes, you can. I forgot to mention, SAVE when you TT to the day that they have moved before you go back to current time.

Alright :) Thank you! Also I have 1 other question. I've heard horror stories of people TTing back and forth between 2 days and somehow one of their favourite villagers ended up all packed up after time travelling back.

Do you have to talk to every villager after TT forward 2 days, save and then TT back 2 days or will just TT forward 2 days, save then going back be efficient enough?

To be safe, talk to every villager until you get one that wants to move. Once you've talked to everybody, if nobody mentions moving or someone else moving you should be safe to save and TT back. It's important to talk to everyone because if you can't find the animal another villager can tell you that a neighbor is planning on moving.

I haven't had this happen (TT back and have a villager gone without notice), but I've been experimenting with a second copy of the game. I did the TT trick to get a villager to move. Robin told me she was moving out on the 28th. I TT'd to the 28th and she was packed. I saved and TT'd to the 29th and she was gone and there was the goodbye note in my mailbox. I saved and TT'd back to the current day and Nan was moving in.

If you're looking for specific villagers, beware that once you TT forward to get the moving villager out, going back a week to the present day can cause someone else to move in right away.

@.@ Eeeks, okay, I'll try to TT back 1 day at a time instead, after I get someone to move out.
