Question about SD card and ANCL.

If I take out the sd card and play ACNL and reset the game. when i put the sd card back in is it reset or i have my old data still.

Do you have a physical copy? If so, the SD card is used for storing pictures.

If you have a digital copy, when you take the SD card out you can't get into the game.

HHA houses only? You don't think 2300 items, 330 villagers, and all of the sprites and whatnot could fit on one block of data, right?

Resetting your game on a cartridge means you're resetting the game and the SD Card won't save it. If anything it'll corrupt your data.

You need two copies. Period. Switching sd cards or other shenanigans will cause an error when loading and you could possibly corrupt your save file. It's happened.
