The special visitors are decided on Sunday.
So if he's there on Monday thru Friday than you can buy the artwork and than TT forward one day. Get the artwork from the mail or make sure it's cleared out. Than TT back one day and Redd will be there. Repeat.
But you'll have to check on your villager each time if you don't want them to move.
I did this in my side town where I don't worry about villagers. I was trying to get artwork for my 2nd town so I TTed back and forth. Make sure to check the boards for premium fruit or high turnip prices. When I TT I did it just before 12 noon so I could check the prices. Sure enough I got a high turnip or a premium perfect fruit.
Same goes for Gracie. But you leave it on the same date after you pass the first check and only change the time to 559am. At 6am a new day will start and you can run up and get another check down. Repeat until all checks are done. Again you might not want to do this if your worried about villagers.
