Question about plot resetting

If i enter in my mayor and then quit without saving,and then i try to do the plot reset trick will it work?

No; the saving that occurs when you start with your mayor permanently plots the villager's house.

Nope. You save before you start.
The best way to plot reset is to start up your game at 5.58am and then save and end. Then you may do the plot reset trick.
