Question about plot resetting

I'm trying to reset a villager's plot, but in my town, it's almost 6am. If I don't get the plot by then, will the rollover cause them to permanently stay in one spot? I haven't started as my mayor and the house is still randomly showing up in some areas.

I was plot resetting for Colton for two weeks, and his house randomly moves just fine all the time.

Yeah just don't play as main character after 6 am.
