Question about planning on moving, then changing their minds

I've been waiting for Eloise to move for a while now. Just a couple minutes ago, she pinged me saying that she was planning on moving, and then said something about not wanting to let go of her memories or something like that and changed her mind.

If I were to reset, would I be able to try to convince her to move again?

yep, it's happened to me a couple of times, so i just reset and let them ping me again.
got them to move out

I reset, (which resulted in my losing a piece of bug furniture and a trophy, but I don't care that much about that) and pretty much as soon as I walked out of my house she pinged me again. Now I just have to avoid her like the plague for a few days.
