I have heard that when you kick out out 10 villager and replace it with an amiibo, with the help of Wisp, they move into the exact spot that the villager you kicked out was in. Is this true? If you want them in a different spot, can you plot reset? And what if you do want them in the same spot? Its all new and confusing, im not used to it yet

That's not true. But you can manipulate where you want them to be if you place paths down. They won't plot on ground patterns anymore.

How I do it is: 1: Place paths down to where you don't want your villager to plot and mark your plot around with paths. 2: TT to the day someone is about to move in. 3: If there isn't a plot where you want it at, look around if you missed a spot. 4. Use the 3DS clock to fix your problem. Repeat steps 2 and 4 until you get the plotted villager where you want.

Okay thanks! The new update is really awesome, this is one of the best features, since it still leaves it somewhat random in case you don't want to control exactly where they go, but it won't ruin your town.
