Question about native flowers and fruits

Before spending hours to reset for an island I wanted to ask if there are only specific combinations of native flowers and fruit.
For example, could I find an island with native tulips and cherry or is this not a combination one can get?

I have cherries and windflowers. I assume it should be possible, i don't think fruit is tied to your native flower.

I got apples and mums, and as above, to my experience the native flower and fruit are completely separate.

I got apples and lillies.

I got oranges and cosmos (which bothers me, as I absolutely do not like the cosmos flowers)

I got oranges and pansies and I went to a town with pears and mums. I think any combo is possible.
