Question about my villagers

It has been important to me that my villagers match the theme/setting of my town. Essentially, my town is a forest/woodland town. The backstory is that it used to be a kingdom, but has now become an overgrown spring forest. I also have a witch resident (i have yet to add her) but basically she put a spell on the princess so that she could be suspended in time in order to survive the war that killed her family/town, and has just woken up in this forest. Right now, my permanent villagers are Diana, Poppy, Whitney, Fauna, Deirdre, Chevre, and Kiki. I am also adding Gabi, Erik, and possibly Katt. The idea i have now for Kiki and Katt, since cats are not usually forest animals, is that they belong to the witch, and they are kind of her helpers. Kiki fits that bc shes a black cat, and for some reason i really like Katt and i think her shabby appearance might suit that role. Im going to leave little clues, like putting their pictures in the witches house, etc. Do you think this would work? I am also worried about Diana and Chevre, since Diana has some pink and purple in her colouring, and Goats are not typically forest animals. Chevre has horns and sort of looks like a deer, so i think she looks somewhat woodland-ish, but i'm not sure. Do you think it is still somewhat realistic? (as realistic as this whole concept can be.) I think the cats as familiars work great! I'm sure you can get the points across.
I think Chevre can fit the role, but Diana might look a little unnatural. You can try finding another snooty you like, maybe?

Really great idea and I love the story about the cats and what they're doing in your town. That would work brilliant. Diana I'm not sure about, she might stand out a little? Chevre might just be okay. Since you already have Whitney in town, is there a different personality you could add instead of a second snooty? Maybe another squirrel?

You can easily explain away Diana's appearance as a random mutation, if you like. Maybe her strange appearance caused her to have to leave her home. Or maybe she made some changes on purpose to appear more royal, as she does favor the rococo stuff. I think her name is from either Diana the Roman goddess of hunting or Diana Poiters, a courtier in France.

I think Diana would fit in!! First of all, she's so cute, I could die.

Secondly, her house is pink and purple, but to me, it's got kind of a fairy look to it! And fairies are definitely forest creatures. Maybe if you think of it like that, it'lll fit in more

I love the idea. As a suggestion (if you're making it a dream town, which I presume you will do) I suggest making the witch's catchphrase (so her TPC statement I believe) 'purr' or just like a cat noise so it's kinda a subtle/obvious hint that the cats are the witch's helpers. Just a thought I had, hope the town comes along well!

i love the idea of having cat familiars! and as for diana, imo the pink swirls look sort of mystical and fairy-ish so i think she could work!
