Question about Moving Villagers

Yesterday I heard from marina that marcel was leaving (FINALLY) but he didn't ping me.
I switched to my other character and found out he was leaving on the 8th.
If I tt'd a few days forward, and a few days back would he be gone?
I don't want to TT to sept 8 because that would mean I'd miss my birthday on sept 7th

So for example if he asked to move on the 3rd, and he said he was moving away on the 8th.
If I tt'd back 5 days he'd be packed up or gone correct?

I'm pretty sure, yes : ) regardless of going back or forth a day, the game stills counts it as a new "day". I was meant to give Mint to someone and time travelled back a few hours so I could go to sleep and the day in animal crossing wouldn't have ended. I wound to 5.58 am and she had gone. 6am is the start of a new day wah
