Question about moving villagers

So I'm trying to get rid of some villagers and Erik asked to move out to which I said no.

How many days need to have passed before someone else asks to move?

Depends. If you're under 9 villagers, I've done a lot of TTing and no one has asked to move for 4 days.

Now that my towns are full, I have had different villagers ask to move everyday for a week. It's slowed down to about every 2 days now, though.

Yes, I have 10 villagers too but since Erik's asked to move I'm struggling to get any other villagers to move
