Question about moving out villagers

So if I'm correct after 2 weeks of someone moving out, there is a chance villagers may get the thought bubble right?

There is someone in my camp site who I'm thinking of inviting but will I have to wait another 2 weeks then for someone asking to move out? I just want some fresh faces but it takes so long...

If someone is in your campsite you can keep talking. After a while he/she wants to move to your island and this is always possible. That person will go to RS and after coming back name 1 of your villagers who want to move out So actually you trade one for another.

And using the campsite method, they pick randomly from your villagers to choose who they will replace. If you don't want to lose the one they picked, BEFORE ANSWERING THEM on the villager they picked, hit the home button and close the game. Please note that this may delete anything you did before going to the campsite (so make sure that is the first thing you do). Reload your game and talk to them again. That means you'll have to go through whatever game they pick again but they will name someone else to replace. Repeat this process until they choose the villager you want to move out.

If you let them finish the dialogue and answer that you don't want X villager to leave, that's who they will choose no matter how many times you reload. The only way to fix that is through time travel.

Oh sorry I don’t think I was very clear (English isn’t my native language).

What I meant is that if I’m correct, after a villager moves out, it takes 2 weeks for another villager to get the thought bubble asking to move out right?

My question is if I invite the camper and move out another villager, will it reset the time it takes for the thought bubble to appear?

No, the campsite doesn't reset the time for the bubble. You should still get the thought bubble if you invite the camper.

I believe the campsite and the thought bubble are two completely separate things. I've had both a visitor at the campsite AND a villager with a thought bubble on the same day.

I think the two are mutually exclusive. I do know that time traveling forward 15 days will cause a thought bubble to happen. Once you've found that villager, if it's not the one you want, before talking to them, again hit the home button, close the game and set the time back to like 4:57am. Wait for Isabelle to give morning announcements and then move the time to 1pm (this is when most villagers are outside). Find the villager with the thought bubble and repeat the process if necessary.

Well yeah the thing is I don’t TT so it takes some patience before someone wants to move out haha. I’m just a bit afraid that I will need to wait another 2 weeks if I let someone move out now through the campsite.

If I can invite the camper while still having the chance of a thought bubble appearing these days, I will invite them without doubt!

Yeah, I totally understand that! I only time travel on one of my accounts and waiting the 15 days is like FOREVER in game terms. I still have my two starter villagers because THEY NEVER ASK TO LEAVE. It's frustrating because four of my villagers are from the group I got right at the start and they're the ones I want to move out. Its always someone I DON'T want to leave that asks. I know your pain!

Yes, that is correct! And I’ve had it happen to me.

I just invited someone from the campsite and got the moving out bubble on another villager a day after they moved in.
