Question About Moving Out Glitch

Cyd is moving out and I MIGHT sell/give him away on this site. Is there still a glitch involving this? I don't want to hurt anyone's town. Also, he just asked today, when will he be out?

After the 1.2.0 patch, there haven't been any reports of the really bad adoption glitches, so you should be safe. There are a few villager glitches that remain that can involve all campers, but they affect the island of the campsite, not any island-to-island adoptions.

If Cyd asked today, then he'll be in boxes tomorrow. You'll have to find someone to adopt him tomorrow. The day after tomorrow, he'll be gone.

he will be in boxes tomorrow and fully moved out the day after
i think all the "moving out/adopting" glitches have been patched but if he asked to move and wasn't forced out then there's nothing to worry about

When can I start hunting for villagers on Mystery Islands?

once there's an open plot villagers will appear on islands ^-^

Once your plot is empty you could start hunting! So the day after they are in boxes and once they are fully moved out
