Question about inviting a campsite villager (not amiibo)

I have Blanche at my campsite today. I played the mini game with her, asked her a few times over the course of the morning to move in and she still says she can’t. How many times do I have to ask for her to finally say yes?

For reference, I have 7 villagers, no open plots yet. I wonder if I set up a plot if that will convince her?

Yes you have to have an open plot for any villager to move in, I had 10 villagers and I was still able to kick someone out!

You need an open plot so once you put one down she will say she can move in!

I just set up a plot and asked her again. She said no... Man she is playing hard to get!

Edit: FINALLY she said yes. I had to ask her several times and she finally got the hint. Thank you guys!

Maybe you need to bring her flowers, take her out to dinner and a movie...
