So I made a hybrid farm last night and placed the flowers as you’re supposed to in the triangle formation. I watered the flowers and the farm is hugeeeeee so I thought for sure I’d get at least one or two but this morning there wasn’t a single hybrid. Is there like a percentage chance at all that hybrids are made or is it just random or is my animal crossing just flipping out. I used red and yellow pansies trying to get the orange hybrid unless that’s not even a thing which would make sense as to why they’re not breeding

I believe it's a percentage chance rather than random, it took me a while to get orange pansies to form (they are possible). Make sure to keep watering every day and you'll get one eventually!

Yes, there's percentages and some are really rare. Wishing you better luck tomorrow! :)

it is percentage indeed; hybrids breed hybrids better, or normal flowers that have hybrid parents breed more hybrids better. its a waiting game! I love hybrids in any AC game so I'm kind of obsessed lol

Thank you, I'll keep hoping😂 I'll just keep watering them and hoping for the best

Yeah me too, I actually love the idea of hybrids, all the colours are bright and pretty and a town full of hybrids is a huge flex😂

How you lay out your flowers also plays a critical role on breeding hybrids. My first hybrid gardens were made of an "X" of red flowers planted in the middle and outlining them with white or yellow flowers. The next day, I got black, pink and orange hybrids.

Okays thank you, I’ll go and try and set that up right now😊 I’m just gonna try everything to increase the chances 😊
