Question about having multiple towns

Hi my daughter currently has the Animal crossing new leaf 3ds game for her console and i was wondering if i was to buy another copy from the nintendo store would that allow us to have 2 seperate games and towns or would it sync up her cartridge game and the digital download game together?.

hello! i'm glad to hear other people are still playing animal crossing! also no, i have 2 game cards and it doesnt mess up at all, it works perfectly fine and wonderfully~! so i would highly suggest getting another~

i used play animal crossing when i was younger and my daughter got a 2ds xl for her christmas and she got the new leaf game as a gift, me being curious put the game in to play to see what was new and ended up hooked only problem was my daughter didn't like the fact that i was mayor and she was only a resident so had to delete my town which got to admit i was sad about haha!!. great i may buy a digital copy for myself so i can be a mayor of my own town and she can be a mayor of hers.

two physical copies does not mess with each other! i also have a digital copy and a physical copy and those don't mess with each other either, and i like that better because i don't have to switch around cartridges only in the menu and it's the same price
