Hey guys!! I have a small question about trying to get the same villager again. Chester was part of my first three villages that moved in and I've grown to love him to bits but his house interior is one of the basic ones, not his proper interior. If he were to move out, do I have to cycle through a certain number of villagers before I can get him again? (Through natural means or buying on the forums) c: please and thank you!

After they move out, can you bring them back via the amiibo/campsite method right after?
I know it takes a few days of crafting them what they want, but can they really move back in that fast after leaving?

Pretty sure you can get him right away. Someone on a Facebook group was confused when their villager moved out, and then moved right back in a couple days later. It was because they went to their friends island who had the same villager and voided them, so she ended up getting the same villager but not technically the one that was on her island before. Haha.

oh yeah, theres some people who have used their amiibo of the same villager to move them in, move them out and give them to another town, and then move them back in to give to yet another town, rinse and repeat. Other people have also used amiibos to move out a villager they like but have the starter interior, and then move them back in to give them their normal interior :O

And to make matters worst. Got a DIY Bottle wash up on the shore from her, with her calling me a "far-away friend".
Definitely the most heartbreaking thing that's happened to me while playing this series.

If an islander moves to a friend's island, and you visit, your islander will still remember you.
But if you run into the islander again on a mystery tour, or campsite, they won't remember you :/ That's awful for those who have lost islanders due to the glitches.
