Yes they are able to make blue roses

took me 3 IRL days with TTing to get 2
The reds that hybrid reds are also hybrid reds, so they can be used to make blues too.. But blues take ages to get, lol .. 70 days of day-by-day TT'ing with silver can and beautiful ordinance :L
I have to be honest and go with scribbler here; I carefully bred purple, then orange, then hybrid reds, then moved them all down to the beach and watered every day.....that red rose garden still has never coughed up a single blue rose. Someone offered me two blue roses in a trade and I was so relieved. Blue roses reproduce really well for me, so now I have a bunch.
I am now trying to make blue roses from black and purple roses, I read somewhere that could work.
The problem I had with the hybrid red roses, is that I don`t know if all the hybrids in that field are actually hybrids, because villagers also can plant red roses. So I think I should try that combination again on my private beach area sometime soon. That way villagers can`t plant regular red roses between them.
I seen blue bloom from that combo on Japanese pictures but also
You know you can try to make blue roses on the beach so you don't mistake?

what were you really expecting.
Yeah, I use an area of land near my house for the black with purple rose combo.
That way I have room on my private beach to both make hybrid red roses and breed them together for blue ones on that same private beach. Its a pain there is no difference in appearance between regular and hybrid red roses....
Just one quick question to you, does it make a big difference if you are using a gold or silver watering can? I hear a lot of people say the silver works better, but its also a lot more work obviously, so I would like to know if there is some sort of proof?
hmmm....I was expecting that after over 100 days of playing everyday at least one would appear?
