Question about bamboo

Does it change color when it comes to fall like the leaves on trees do?
My town has mostly bamboo, maybe 4 trees in my camping area but thats it
But I want to have my town be more of a fall town when I release it on my Dream Address,
so wondering if the bamboo will change coloring too, or should I start changing it to saplings now, before I dig myself in too deep

they dont change colour, but in a lot of towns, i see that people sometimes chop down the bamboo during the frist growth cycle when their brown. It looks really cool, the first one here is what it looks like:

bamboo is always green but it changes to different shades/tints of green.
