Question About Avatar Animation

I bought the item awhile back and out of curiosity, is there a limit to how many times I can use it? That's a lot of TBT down the drain if I can only have an animated avatar once.

Once you've purchased the item you can upload animated avatars indefinitely. It's not a one time use item.

Can you explain why this gif isn't animating for me then?

If it's not working, it's one of two things: it's either the wrong size (it has to be exactly 100x100px) or it has too many frames. With this one, I'd guess it's the former. Try resizing the file and see if that fixes things.
