Question about achieving Golden Watering Can

I finally got a perfect town rating !!

I know I have to maintain the perfect town for 15 days to get the golden watering can, but my question is am I allowed to time travel at all, or do I have to go through the 15 days without time traveling?

Of course I know time traveling more then a few days is a bad idea because weeds can come up, but I just want to know if it's a rule or not. Thank you!

Time traveling period will make weeds pop up. If you don't want any, you'll have to wait the 15 days.

I think You have to talk to her about citizen satisfaction everyday so tt'ing one day at a time seems good

It is possible to time travel without weeds popping up, as long as it's not long periods of time. Ok thanks Mudkipz

You don't have to talk with her every single day. She's only there for assurance.

If weeds are an issue, you should use the Beautiful Town Ordinance, although it will take a day to be enacted, so you will have to pick weeds/water flowers the following day, but after that, you should be free to time travel farther. You also need to watch for moving villagers, as I've heard that some people have had their town rating changed from villagers moving in and out.
