So I haven't played for two days and find out that Carmen is in boxes today ... o(╥﹏╥)o o(╥﹏╥)o

If I try to cycle 16 villagers to get her back, does it mean I will have to let my current villagers go? (I don't want this since they're all dreamies)

Or is it possible to cycle new villager move-ins only? (i'm sorry if this isn't clear, i don't really know how to explain it in english)

I suppose you could cycle new move-ins but it would be harder and longer. It took me a month to cycle for Diana, with incomplete dreamies. I have her back now though <3

Depends how many spaces you have free. I'd suggest at least two spaces to be able to move one in and the other out consistently. But you'd need to be verrrrry careful not to accidentally TT another dreamie into boxes.

If you want to get her back super fast then yes you'll have to sacrifice some dreamies but you could cycle new move ins but it'll take FOREVER and a day to complete the cycle. Good luck :3

I've only cycled move ins. I'm done now and it took me 4 days (3 really but I was holding a villager for someone to adopt for one day)

This is what I'm afraid of ;_;
It's soooo hard to make your newest villager moving out so I don't even want to think about 16 of them ...

Well, are all the remaining villagers in your town your dreamies? Cycling 16 becomes more difficult the more dreamies you have in your town basically.

In the process of cycling, I lost five dreamies so I wouldn't risk it with one space open. Thank god they weren't major, but I'm a stupid tter so I assure you you won't make those mistakes.

I guess in the end there's always more villagers. As mentioned above, if I lost five dreamies (well that was just when I was cycling, you don't want to know how many I've lost!) and found amazing replacements so fast, you can do the same.

Do you have some tips to do this? I'm very interested to know more about it :)

Well, fortunately (or unfortunately lol) they are. I am more attached to some of them though

Well punchy was my surprise move out.
After him, lolly pinged. I let her and punchy both move to my alt town. That brought me down to 8. After I got a random move in, I TT'd the usual way to get villagers out until either a camper showed up, or someone pinged to move. I kept those I didn't want to lose and would adopt in my 10th villager. By that time, the random 9th villager who moved in would ping to leave. So I left and continued bringing in campers. I finished my cycle for punchy and the random camper that was still here was my last one needed for lolly. ^^ so in essence you have to lose the surprise villager and deliberately let another go, but I got both back.

That's a tough one then. If you just have one empty spot, I personally wouldn't risk it plus it could take a really long time because chances of that one villager wanting to move all the time are slim.
If you're not that attached to some of them and really want Carmen back, I'd consider letting them go too to make more space. :(

Hmm it seems that everyone agrees you need at least 2 spots to cycle more easily
I guess I won't take the risk to lose another dreamy and find another one to replace Carmen
Genji will be so sad without her, they get along so well and were the cutest couple in town ... I'm such an useless mayor (?;Д;`)

Thank you guys for all your precious advices!
