If I make a second character to put custom QR designs on furniture and move that furniture into my main mayor's home, will the designs still show? Or does it work like mannequins where if it's not on your immediate person, it vanishes?

If the item customized is a yellow leaf, you can't drop it. :/

If you mean put a design, QR codes can't be customized as well.

Alternative question, if I make customs for the wall and such, do I have to keep the designs on my person forever for them to show?

If the QR code is destroyed, then the picture will be white. If it is a character made item, then it will change to the newly edited thing. :/ It's pretty weird. I wish the "save design" in Able Sisters did something like that.

That really sucks, thanks for doing the research for me !!
I wish the saving design feature had more uses as well, or if things could just keep the design you originally placed until you repicked them up or something...

You can't drop off the furniture that's customized with the QR you made (yellow leaf one), but there's a way to toss it to other character in your town, if that's what you were asking about.
