Hey, so I just unlocked the QR machine, but its not reading any codes when I launch it. Is that because I need wifi turned on when I launch it?

My brightness is set to 90. The code is too blurry to read.

Sometimes I have to get in weird positions to get the QR codes to read because the screen glare or reflections from the overhead light can mess up the QR scanner.
There are also times when the QR simply is too blurry to read. Just keep s l o w l y backing in and out, cover the little purple light your 3DS is casting when you have the camera on, and stay very still. Sometimes shining a light on the QR can help. If it still doesn't read after like 10 mins then give up.
Also, I think you know this, but your first post reads like you can go online throu the QR machine. You can't. It simply reads QRs you have.

No, I meant do you actively need to BE online with Wifi in order to read a QR code? Or can it be read without Wifi?
I ask because I don't actually have Wifi. I just have a hotspot that is included with my unlimited data plan.
You don't need any sort of internet connection to scan the code, all the information the game needs is included in the QR code itself.

Off topic but eigqkqgnqdgn yo me to. Atleast I HAD a hotspot. Once I got unlimited data thou that feature was disabled :/ I'm genuinely surprised another person not only has no WiFi but uses a hotspot on their phone (or some other device I guess).
