Q: # of days you can safely [not log on] without fear of losing villagers

Hey gang,

So I'm trying to write my thesis and I want to dedicate a great deal of time to it, but I'm afraid that one of my villagers will want to move out if I ignore my town too long. I wanted to know: how many days can I go without playing before I need to worry of a move-out? Like, could I play every 2 days without an issue? Every 3 days? The fact that the clock is always ticking is maddening! lol

Anybody else have this issue? What do you do? What have you learned from your own experiences?

It takes 5 days for a villager to be in boxes, so 4 days.
