If you think about it, no. Most people establish their paths and stuff be- omg, I just saw Butch's head pop off, then he disappeared, and then he started walking across my screen again x.x -before they really play around with public works projects. So flowers are generally already put in the places they need be, and most people choose not to surround benches with flowers and stuff.

Then, as for the people that do, they water them daily. (Or their villagers do.)

Well, not everyone plays the game in the same way. I still believe it likely that a lot of players would have experienced that glitch then. But I see no reason for me to stress this topic further now.

Given the fact that Filbert was that close to the project to begin with, sounds like something situational. The flower theory as such is situational and plausible. I would advise not to build PWP's next to neighbors houses to begin with.

Walker moved in literally two spaces apart from my street lamp, except it's been there for a while. He was even close to the Zen Bell I had built, but I demolished that. But he hasn't moved out, so I'm not so sure.

Same here...I hope it goes away eventually. I'm not sure if bugs are like that though.

Chances are, they'll patch it eventually. But the game's code can't update by itself, so unless they do, it won't go away
