Ok, so I want to survey all of you. I want to figure out the best way to get PWPs, so please answer the questions listed.

How many PWPs do you get per week?
What level of friendship are you at with your villagers?
Do you do the diving trick?
What time of day do you normally get PWP requests?
Any other details? (For example, do you normally have PWPs taking donations when you get requests, etc.)

I get around three per week, honestly. I only need a couple more pwp's to finish my entire list.
In addition, I've had my town ever since January 11th.

I'm at medium to high friendship with all my villagers.

Yes! I do the diving trick whenever I'm not busy.
Afternoon and morning.

i've stopped getting PWPs bc i got the ones i really wanted but i used to do the wetsuit trick. sometimes i'd trap the villager i wanted, but i'd usually just slowly walk to see if i had to avoid a certain path if i didn't want a ping from a specific villager. when i was doing the wetsuit trick, i was getting at least one a day and then i'd TT to the next day. i've done day and night time for PWPs, didn't really matter to me. i don't think friendship mattered, but if they ask you to do favors like change their phrases def do it or they just keep bothering you about it.

I already got all my PWP done, but I'll still try to help:

How many PWPs do you get per week? At first I got them all the time, like 1 a day.
What level of friendship are you at with your villagers? Various levels.
Do you do the diving trick? Once I started wanting specific PWP, I started doing this.
What time of day do you normally get PWP requests? Various times.
Any other details? (For example, do you normally have PWPs taking donations when you get requests, etc.) I paid for all of them myself, because they help, but SO LITTLE, it's not worth the wait. Also, for the diving trick, you don't need to swim around the whole time. I would literally just dive in and then put my game down for 5 minutes while I did something else...then come out and walk in front of the villager I wanted to ping me. I would literally hide behind buildings sometimes so others wouldn't see me first. XD But it worked! Good luck! :3

How many PWPs do you get per week? 7
What level of friendship are you at with your villagers? No idea. I talk to them once a day. But most of them have given me their picture, if that helps.
Do you do the diving trick? No
What time of day do you normally get PWP requests? Don't know, any time of the day basically. But I normally play around 12-4pm
Any other details? (For example, do you normally have PWPs taking donations when you get requests, etc.) Every time someone pings, I save and quit, and start up again. This will make them ping all over again. So I just do it until someone suggests the PWP. I do this while my inventory is filled with flowers.
WAY faster than doing the diving method. With this method I've now got every single PWP suggested.

What time of day do you normally get PWP requests?never got one

no

How many PWPs do you get per week?: None per week. One or two a month if I'm lucky.
What level of friendship are you at with your villagers?: Medium with most, high with my deer.
Do you do the diving trick?: No idea what that is, so no.
What time of day do you normally get PWP requests?: Early afternoon.
Any other details?: The only PWPs I've actually done so far are the museum upgrade, The Roost, Dream Suite, the Reset Surveillance Center, and the Campsite. I'm not really interested in most of the PWPs.

How many PWPs do you get per week?
Usually I go for 1 per day

What level of friendship are you at with your villagers?
Good, I'm not mean to anyone lol

Do you do the diving trick?
yup

What time of day do you normally get PWP requests?
Usually in the afternoon, but whenever I have time

Any other details? (For example, do you normally have PWPs taking donations when you get requests, etc.)
- Fun fact: In my current town and last town the wind turbine was the first thing requested
- This time playing I actually got 2 requests (different days) without doing the diving trick, they came up to me
- I tried getting more than one for hours with no luck, so I dont even bother going for 2 a day
- Usually I get a PWP while doing the diving trick under 1 hour
- They key to the diving trick is also filling up your inventory (with bells/flowers) mine was empty the first two times I did it and they never requested anything, they kept on giving me free stuff

I will try this today.

davidxrawr, you can only unlock 1 pwp per day.

I've found that I started getting pings for pwps after I already had about 8 or so built. I believe that the more you build, the more likely they are to request.

My previous town, before I reset, was getting pwp requests like crazy with no special effort on my part. The towns before that, rarely every got one. My current town... I'm using the diving trick with not as much success as I'd hoped.
