Will villagers ping you for a new PWP while you are currently raising funds for one?? I?ve got the gyro if set up for the police station right now so I?m wondering if I?m doing the diving trick for nothing...

Yep, they will, I'm pretty sure. There was this one time I was raising funds for a bridge for like a month and they still pinged me, I believe.
