I know the dive trick for getting PWP's faster. However, it's not working for me. My pockets are empty, I've got no money on me. All my villagers keep pinging about is catchphrases, nicknames and about what i think of them. Are there any other tricks I might be unaware of?! Please share if so ^.^ I'm having a hard time getting PWP's. I've been doing the dive trick for 4 hours now, and nada.

Sometimes you just gotta be patient. I do this "trick" a lot too, and sometimes I gotta go back and forth more than 10 times before I'll finally get that pwp ping. it can take awhile, but it does come. if you are having that much trouble, be super sure that you didn't already get a request for the day. good luck
Thanks ^.^ Yeah, I always make sure of that. I haven't gotten a request the past 4 days, and I've been trying for at least 2 hours everyday. It's starting to become a chore and I hate it >.< This be the downside of resetting.
I can usually manage to get one pwp suggestion a day, if I'm patient enough. But it does take a lot of work since all the diving trick does is increase pings and restrict ping topics. I've had days where I can try for hours and nothing happens, and sometimes it'll only take a few tries. The only thing I can think of to help you along is to save and quit regularly, villagers will stop pinging you if you've been playing for too long.
That and try and do something fun to counteract the tedium of it. I either play another game or watch some tv to keep my focus off how long it takes. It might help, or it might not. Either way I hope you have better luck with getting more PWP requests.

You should full your pocket with flowers. That way, they can t ping you to give you anything, and they won't buy any flowers either. That should help a little bit.
I always thought you had to fill your pockets with stuff they won't ask for (flowers, money). But I know, I want more PWPs but there are some days where just no one will ping you with new suggestions.. :c it can be so frustrating!

Maybe you need to be good friends with them too? I noticed this because the only villagers who give me PWP suggestions are those who have stayed long and are good friends. I usually don't talk to Muffy. I decided to get on her good sides and now she gives me PWP suggestions.

The dive trick reallly works for me some days,Your pockets have to be full of flowers so they cant buy or sell anything too you some days I get it on my second try others im there for hours if it gets that bad I changed the hour
