pwp pinging

when i do the diving trick deirdre never pings me but everyone else in the town does
shes not saying that i've been playing too long either

Did you try saving and restarting? I think that would probably work.
Or, it could be just some bad luck.

Yeah, I find the diving trick rarely work out for me. I've had better luck when you start up the game and walk in front of your villagers. One of them is guaranteed to ping you whether it's about PWPs or moving or catchphrases/favors. Make sure to have your pockets full with no money and don't talk to anyone first, otherwise you'll have to wait about 5 minutes. Good luck!

Had she been in your town for a while? I always found my newest villagers won't ping for anything until they've been there a couple of weeks
The diving trick worked perfectly for me, ended up getting every pwp from doing it, so just keep with it

Shes been in my town for about a month and a bit now.

I thought that the first villager that sees you should ping you.
Oh plus, I've been trying for 2 days so this trick is pretty damn hard then.

Yeah, no problem! When you start up the game, it isn't always the first villager you see that'll ping you. It usually is but I've had many cases where it's the 2nd or 4th or random order. I kind of learned this from trying to get villagers to ping me about moving. I forgot to mention that if there's a villager you're looking to get PWPs from, you can trap them by digging holes around them (be sure to give them space to walk). Talk to other villagers and then take a break for 5 minutes and it can sometimes work. I've had mixed results but worth a try if you haven't done so yet.

make sure to talk to her before starting the ping-farm to get her talk juices flowing (thats what i always do), also try to trap her in one spot so you always know where she is
