Puzzle League - mention of Meow Coupons?

I was playing Animal Crossing Puzzle League using my Mabel amiibo and during stage 5 (I think) of story mode I saw a message that maybe said something about earning Meow Coupons for beating the level quickly or something? I'm really not sure if that's what it said, I was just wondering if anyone has seen something like that.
Can you earn Meow Coupons from playing the new minigames?

edit: so I just noticed Nintendo mailed me items for reaching certain milestones in the game? So there is an incentive to play other than just high scores. I still swear I saw something about meow coupons though..

That'd be cool. I beat story mode and kinda don't want to play it anymore, lol. But maybe if this were I tree I'll have incentive to play.

Can confirm: just checked my CAT machine and it said "Puzzle League bonus" and gave me 1 MEOW coupon.
