i don't cycle, but isn't it possible to just tt one day forward, save and quit, and then do the same thing again? isabelle will automatically inform you that someone's moving out, so i don't know why people need to ping !! but maybe i'm completely wrong

What you can do is time travel 2 days, and then time travel back two days. That way, almost always a villager will ping you.

TTing them out is:

TT two days ahead, immediately save and quit.
Load up again and TT two days back (to your original date).
Someone on this day WILL ping you! However, if they're not in the village or if they're in their house, they will not ping or say. (So if you want a certain one out, it means you have to keep closing and loading the game til theyre out of their house!)
