Public works suggestions

Have any villagers suggested a public works for you yet? I'm hoping Blathers will mention the gift shop soon, but he hasn't mentioned it. I have more than the needed amount of donations, but I guess it takes a while?

I have one completed public works already and the Garden Store is being built.
