I just can't seem to get them suggested. I've been doing the swimming trick for about just over 2 hours now and I've come up with nothing. Any suggestion on how to speed this up?

I really want my Brick bridges back so badly.. XD

It's easier to have a timer set for at least 5 minutes before diving. Make sure all your pockets are filled with bells so villagers can't try to sell you things or buy them. If you see a villager with the personality for the project you want to unlock, trap them by digging holes around them and keep going back to them to get them to want to talk to you after each dive is up.

Oh! And I found it really helpful to talk to all my villagers in the morning first. And I noticed villagers I talk to a lot request more often ^-^ hope that helps!

That's what I've been doing, expect my pockets are filled with flowers I had around my house and I've been getting nothing. They either won't ping me or just want a new catchphrase.

I must be getting REALLY unlucky..

It's really coming down to luck. It also depends on how many PWPS you already have had suggested. The less there is to suggest, the smaller the pool, and therefore they're less likely to ping about a certain PWP.

This town was created on April 6th. I only have the default PWPs barring the Dream Suite which I already paid off this morning.

I figured it came down to luck, but I figured I would have gotten ONE suggestion by now. ;~;

Well as an update from yesterday of doing it and some today I've gotten a grand total of one PWP request, which was the modern bridge. Bit of a double-edged sword to be honest. On one end, I finally got something from doing the trick, on the other hand I got a bridge PWP request that WASN'T the brick bridge PWP. Curses.

I've befriended most of them enough to think they'd suggest stuff. And I didn't know you could only get one request for a PWP per day! You learn something new each day! Good thing I stopped shortly after being suggested the modern bridge as well as tonight when Quillson suggested the Police station.
